Commercial Documents Attestation

Important Notes:

  • The documents issued by Government Authority of India, can be Attested by the Consulateonly if the documents are attested / apostilled by CPV Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Visit the Indian Government's Portal for more details.
  • For documents issued in Government Authority of Oman, must be first notarized and attestedby District Court

 

Follow the below steps in order to apply

  1. Create an account (Register yourself) on SGIVS Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. Click Here to register.
  2. Book your appointment online at SGIVS Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. You can choose a convenient date and time to visit the SGIVS ICAC for your application submission. Click Here to book your appointment online.  
  3. Ensure that you have your all other supporting documents, exactly as per the "Documents Checklist" section. 
  4. Visit the SGIVS ICAC, as per your jurisdiction. The address and location of the ICAC will be clearly mentioned in the appontment letter. 
  5. Kindly ensure you reach the ICAC 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. 
  6. Submit your application and deposit your fees at SGIVS ICAC. You can check the fee for this application under the "Fee Details" section. 
  7. Your application submission process is now complete! You can avail our Courier service to get your attested document(s) delivered to your doorstep!
  8. While your application is in process, you can track your application to know the current stage of your application process. Click Here to track your application online. 

Note: For Postal Applications, follow step 1 and step 2, and then apply for postal application by loggin-in. Click here to log-in. Follow the step-by-step direction to prepare your postal package and send it to the correct SGIVS ICAC as per your jurisdiction. Please ensure to attach your proof of payment in your postal package.

Documents Checklist for Civil attestation of Oman documents:

  • Current Passport in original with photocopy of the first, last, and address page and any other endorsement pages and existing visa / visa page with additional booklets, if any, also to be produced.
  • Photocopy of valid ID card / residence card (Original to be produced for verification).
  • Valid Commercial Registration
  • Authorization Letter
    This letter hereby confirms that the company accepts full responsibility for the product. Furthermore, it designates [Name of the Authorized Person], who is duly authorized to submit this document and to act on behalf of the company in all matters related to this submission.
