Follow the below steps in order to apply

1. Create an account (Register yourself) on SGIVS Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. Click Here to register.
2. Properly filled up online application form with signature of the applicant –www.indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa
3. 2 recent Passport size photos (51mm x 51mm) not older than Three months, no uniform, with white background, DARK DRESS and frontal view. Eyebrows should be visible. Ears, forehead chin to be completely visible. In case of locals wearing qandoura the background should be in light blue. Clarity of the photo is very important - Edited, blurred or unclear photos should not be accepted.
4. Valid Passport in original with clear photocopy. Old passport needs to be carried, in case the valid UAE Resident visa on it along with the photocopy
5. Ensure that you select the appropriate option for the dropdown "Indian Mission/Office" as per your correct jurisdiction. To know your jurisdiction, refer to the "Jurisdiction" section.
6. Print and sign your application
7. Book your appointment online at SGIVS Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. You can choose a convenient date and time to visit the SGIVS ICAC for your application submission. Click Here to book your appointment online.  
8. Ensure that you have your passport, photographs and all other supporting documents, exactly as per the "Documents Checklist" section.
9. Visit the SGIVS ICAC, as per your jurisdiction. The address and location of the ICAC will be clearly mentioned in the appointment letter. 
10. Kindly ensure you reach the ICAC 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. 
11. Submit your application and deposit your fees at SGIVS ICAC. You can check the fee for this application under the "Fee Details" section.
12. Enroll for Biometrics at SGIVS ICAC (if required)

Ayush Visa (AY-1)

This category of visa Ayush Visa (AY-1) will be applicable to foreign nationals whose sole purpose is to seek treatment through Ayush systems / Indian systems of medicine like therapeutic care and wellness in a Hospital / Wellness Centre accredited and registered with any Government authority(ies) concerned or NABH / NCH / NCISM accredited hospitals providing Ayush services in India.

Ayush visa (AY-1) for the purpose of medical treatment is granted for up to one year with maximum of three entries.

If Ayush visa (AY-1) is issued for a period of 6 months or less, no registration with FRRO / FRO would be required.

Important points to be noted during visa application:

• Duly filled up online application form with signature of the applicant indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa

• Self-attested photocopy of Proof of Current address in Oman of the applicant.

Additional Documents Required

• Letter from the hospital/ Institution/ Wellness Centre accredited and registered with any Government of India authority(ies) or NABH/ NCH/ NCISM accredited hospitals providing Ayush services duly stamped and signed, confirming the applicants admission for medical treatment through Ayush system in India with clearly mentioning the period of treatment.
• All applicants for Ayush visa are required to generate the invitation letter from this link which is mandatory to be submitted along with the visa application.
• Letter from the hospital/doctor in Oman attesting the need for treatment in India.
• Bank statement showing sufficient funds for medical expenses.
• Additional documents for minors applicants: Birth Certificate of the applicant, passport copies of the parents and Consent letter signed by both parents or custody letter of a local court (if applicable)

Additional documents for Ayush Visa attendants;

• Recommendation letter from the hospital/institution in India for medical treatment. All applicants for Ayush attendant visa are required to generate the invitation letter
• from the URL https://indianfrro.gov.in/frro/medicalvaluetravel  which is mandatory to be submitted along with the visa application.
• Passport copy of the principal Ayush visa applicant/holder.
• Proof of payment of the applicable fee.
• Under Family details: The applicant must specify the previous nationality of both the parents. Applicant should not leave that blank.
• Photograph should be mandatorily uploaded before submitting the online application form.
