Important Notes:
- The documents issued by Government Authority of India, can be Attested by the Consulateonly if the documents are attested / apostilled by CPV Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Visit the Indian Government's Portal for more details.
- For documents issued in Government Authority of Oman, they must be attested by the MoFA.
Follow the below steps in order to apply
- Create an account (Register yourself) on SGIVS Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. Click Here to register.
- Book your appointment online at SGIVS Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website. You can choose a convenient date and time to visit the SGIVS ICAC for your application submission. Click Here to book your appointment online.
- Ensure that you have your all other supporting documents, exactly as per the "Documents Checklist" section.
- Visit the SGIVS ICAC, as per your jurisdiction. The address and location of the ICAC will be clearly mentioned in the appontment letter.
- Kindly ensure you reach the ICAC 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
- Submit your application and deposit your fees at SGIVS ICAC. You can check the fee for this application under the "Fee Details" section.
- Your application submission process is now complete! You can avail our Courier service to get your attested document(s) delivered to your doorstep!

Document Checklist:
All certificates (personal/professional) issued by the competent authorities in India are required to be attested by the General Administration Department (Home Department) of the state concerned from where the said certificate/document has been issued. The same certificate/document should then be apostilled by Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi or its branch offices in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati and Panaji.
- Applicant has to come in person.
- Original passport and its photocopy
- Photocopy of the residence Card.
